Q. How do I print something at the library?

Answer

Cost: Black and white printing costs 15 cents per page. Color printing (available at Brookline Village and Coolidge Corner) costs 40 cents per page.

To print wirelessly from a personal laptop or other device, please register here. You will then receive an email detailing your printing options.

To print from a library-owned computer, click the print command in any program. In a browser, we recommend that you print preview the web page first and then use the print command to print only the pages you want. This can save you a lot of money. Confirm that you want to print and then proceed to a print release station.

Not sure where the printers are? At Brookline Village, the print release stations are across from the computer lab on the first floor and on the basement floor near the bottom of the stairwell. At Coolidge Corner, the station is near the bathrooms facing the adult computer area. At Putterham, the station is to the left of the computer cluster.

If you used your library card to access the computer you printed from, you will use that card number to release your print job. If you used an express station that you didn't log into, you will need to type in the station number you were on. If you used the wireless printing service, you need to type in the code you received in the confirmation email.
